Thank you for expressing an interest in providing music lessons for your child. You are to be commended for recognizing the importance of this experience. By giving your child the opportunity to learn the skills required to make music, you are helping him/her to succeed in any area he/she should choose to pursue throughout his/her life.Selecting the right music teacher can be a difficult task. Here are some guidelines designed to help you choose the teacher who will best fit your needs. Each teacher has his/her own approach to teaching with special emphasis and strengths. It is suggested that you interview with prospective teachers and/or observe the teacher giving a lesson. By talking to several teachers you will be able to make an informed decision, thus enabling your child to realize his/her full potential.
